Terms and Conditions

1. Account and access
You are responsible for account credentials, invited members, and activity in your ledger. You must provide accurate registration details and keep your contact email current.
2. Acceptable use
You may not use the service for unlawful activity, abusive behavior, attempts to bypass authorization controls, or actions that degrade service reliability for other users.
3. Data ownership
You retain ownership of data submitted to the platform. We process your data to operate product features, secure the service, and provide support.
4. Ledger sharing
You control who is invited to your ledgers and with what role. You are responsible for sharing only information you have the right to share, including information in your records that describes other people.
Owniko does not provide financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. Granting another person, including a professional, family member, or trusted contact, access to a ledger creates a relationship between you and that person, not between them and Owniko. Professionals who use Owniko in their practice are responsible for their own professional, confidentiality, and regulatory obligations.
Family Continuity access, where enabled, is informational, read-only, time-limited, and audited, and is governed by the acknowledgements shown in that feature. It does not create legal authority to act for any account owner.
5. Billing and plan changes
Paid plans renew automatically based on the monthly or yearly billing interval selected at checkout unless you cancel before the next renewal date. Stripe processes subscription payments, invoices, receipts, and payment method updates for Owniko. Owniko does not store full card numbers or bank-card security codes.
You can manage payment methods, invoices, plan changes, and cancellation through the Owniko billing page or Stripe billing portal when available. You can also contact support@owniko.com for billing help.
Cancellations stop future renewals. Unless otherwise required by law or approved by Owniko as a support exception, paid access continues through the end of the current billing period and unused time is not automatically refunded. See the Refund and Cancellation Policy for details.
If a payment fails, access to paid features may be limited, downgraded, or paused after any applicable grace period. Plan limits, pricing, and features may change with advance notice where required by law.
6. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations, security risks, or legal obligations. You may stop using the service at any time.
7. Liability and warranty
The service is provided on an as-is basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and limit liability for indirect or consequential damages.
8. Contact
For legal notices or policy questions, contact support@owniko.com.
